John Gilligan
John J. Gilligan, the principal and managing partner in the firm, is certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a Family Law Specialist. The firm’s emphasis is family law and all related family issues. The firm advises on probate litigation and all areas of estate planning. Mr. Gilligan has served as Judge Pro-Tem in the Superior Court for sixteen years. He is also certified to serve as a Superior Court Mediator, qualified for service as Court-Appointed Minor's Counsel, and has served on various Bar Associations. He has lectured extensively and authored many published articles in the areas of domestic violence, child custody, community property and various other aspects of family law, and is the author of three published opinions.

MichaelAnne Cahill
MichaelAnne Cahill is the second of six children who was born and raised in a small town outside of St. Louis, MO. She moved to Los Angeles in 1984. In 1986 she started school at El Camino College earning two AA degrees in 1992. Thereafter, she attend UCLA and graduated with two Bachelor degrees in 1995. MichaelAnne obtained her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University in 2000 and participated in the London Program in 1999. While in law school, she was an active member in the Moot Court, International Moot Court and Dalsimer Trial Advocacy Competition. In addition to her participation in the London Abroad Program she was a research assistant to the Author of a United States Supreme Court Amicus Brief. Today MichaelAnne’s focus is to practice law with integrity, honesty and compassion for each individual.

Mary Peeples
Associate Attorney – Emphasis in family law including all related family issues, including custody, support, property division, retirement, third party custody and visitation rights. She serves as a Superior Court Mediator, and is qualified for service as Court-Appointed Minor’s Counsel. Current and past memberships include Los Angeles Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, Long Beach Bar Association, Southeast District Bar Association (Treasurer 1999), Volunteer Long Beach Domestic Violence TRO Clinic, and Constitution Law Foundation.
